Carrigaline Schools Campus

The Carrigaline Education Campus consists of three new schools in Carrigaline that will accommodate more than 1,000 pupils. The €20M three school campus is being promoted by The Cork Education & Training Board (Cork ETB) and includes a Gaelcholáiste secondary school, a Gaelscoil primary school and SONAS special Junior Primary School.

During his time as a Director in McCutcheon Halley Walsh, Harry acted as the planning consultant for Cork ETB. This planning application proved complex and contentious and cumulated in an Oral Hearing held in July 2016. Working alongside KOBW Architects, Harry provided the design team with strategic direction in terms of the more complex issues of planning precedent and planning policy and initially assisted with the response to a request for further information.

Harry prepared a first party appeal against conditions and drafted the response to third party appeals. He appeared as an expert witness during the Oral Hearing and assisted Senior Counsel with hearing strategy and cross examination.
